September 28, 2017 – On the Road Again, Packer Bears Game at Green
Bay
We
are on the road again! August and most of September we spent at our
house doing a few projects and just enjoying the lake. We kind of
hated to leave but alas we must be on our way south as we will be
attending the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Albuquque in October. Our
plan is to spend October in New Mexico then find a place to store our
camper and drive back to Wisconsin in early November, returning to
New Mexico in early December. Then we will continue to explore New
Mexico. Eventually we will head over to Arizona to spend the
remainder of the winter.
On
our way south we will be stopping in Chippewa Falls to attend a 80th
birthday party for my Aunt Bonita and a baby shower for our neice
Danielle. We will also be stopping to visit my cousins in Cedar Falls
Iowa and Omaha Nebraska.
Today
we are “camped” in the parking lot of the Oneida Casino. Later
today we will be going to the Green Bay Packers game. Sheila and her
friend Stephanie from work will be attending the game with us. They
are meeting us here at the Casino and we will drive over to the
stadium together. This will be Stephanie's first Packer game and I am
sure she is super excited!

Temps:
After a week of above average temperatures in the upper 80's and
lower 90's it has cooled down with highs in the low 70's. Tonights
low is expected to be around 53 degrees.
Where
we are parked: Oneida Casino Parking Lot, 0$/night, no water,
electric and sewer. There are 15 pay for sites with 30 amp. Electric
($15) along a road behind the bingo hall. They were all taken when we
arrived here this morning so are boondocking in the parking lot.
