After all the exercise yesterday I felt
I needed a day of rest. However Dennis had other ideas as we ended up
taking a 2.5 mile walk. We walked the beach walkway again but we did
not hurry and took time to look into the water. We spied little fish
and what we think are blue crabs.
Back at the camper we hung out and did
some reading and Dennis messed with his strum stick. We haven't used
the awing much but knew it was really dirty. Dennis mixed a bleach
solution and he sprayed this on the awning. Then he got up on the
roof and scrubbed as much of the awning that he could reach and some of
the roof. We couldn't do a thorough cleaning as the campground frowns
on it. After that we went to the campground laundry and washed the
sheets. Had salad with leftover turkey for dinner. Nothing too
exciting. Tomorrow we are going to the Hurricane museum in Waveland.
